Joseph is a graduate of the massage therapy program at Sutherland-Chan: School and Teaching Clinic. He is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Ontario Massage Therapy Organization (OMTA). During his time at Sutherland-Chan, Joseph was fortunate to be exposed to a variety of clinical conditions. He has received extensive training in treatment-based massage and relaxation massage. As well, he has experience working with clients with CNS disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, the elderly, and cancer patients at Princess Margaret Lodge.

In his private practice, Joseph has a special interest in sports massage. Being an active individual himself, he has experienced his fair share of injuries and can readily relate to the pain in which some of his patients may be going through with their particular injury. With this first-hand knowledge, Joseph is able to devise personal treatment plans that get to the root of the problem to ensure a fast and speedy recovery.

Prior to his massage therapy training, Joseph completed his degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University in 2004. After graduating from university, he gained certification as a Certified Fitness Consultant (CFC), where he performs fitness appraisals in accordance to the Canadian Physical Activity and Lifestyle Appraisal (CPAFLA).
