I provide massage therapy treatments to promote general health and well being. My treatment focus is on musculo-skeletal injuries, postural and joint dysfunction, sports-related injuries, and PMS among others.
I have a special interest in peri-natal massage. I work with expecting mothers and new mothers in order to promote a healthy pregnancy, to relieve muscle tension and stress, and to minimize disruption in daily activities. I have also worked with women with high risk pregnancies at the Women’s College Hospital as part of my training as a Registered Massage Therapist.
With patients, I apply Swedish massage techniques and bring into play non-Swedish techniques such as fascial release, trigger point release, joint mobilizations, active-inhibition and static pressure techniques and facilitated stretches.
I believe that active patient involvement is the key to achieve optimal results. I encourage my patients to ask questions and become more aware of their physical condition and health status so that they may experience a better quality of life.
I am a Registered Massage Therapist and a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. I completed my training as a Registered Massage Therapist at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy.
I am fluent in and provide services in English and Tagalog.
